Reenable Mono <-> Stereo switch button

I don’t even understand why it isn’t all done automatically:

Start with a mono source, and the channel including pan pot is mono. Insert a mono effect, it stays mono. Insert a stereo effect, it switches to a mono>stereo track, feeding dual mono into the stereo plugin and the signal path remains stereo from there on.

It’s stuff like this computer software is supposed to make easy!

Steiny can def take a page or two from Ableton in regards to that… as well as automation.

In effect I came back to the forum to find an easy solution for this.

@powernemo - it’s not really a fix but a clumsy workaround but you can drag the audio to a new stereo/mono track - and drag your plugins to the new track

Yes (probably I am even in the wrong thread) but standing from all the +1 that’s something ppl will like to improve.
