i’m searching for some hardware in addition to my current setup. I’ve got an yamaha KX49 as midi keyboard, but i’m searching for a new one.
I didn’t produce for a while, so my Cubase AI4 doens’t work on my iMac [Lion], outdated. Now I want to restart and looking for some gear.
My budget is about 300 euro/240 pounds/370 dollars. What do you recommend?
I’m aiming to produce hiphop/reggae.
For the midi controller I was thinking about the Akai MPK49, because I like to have the possibility to play some pianorolls.
Further, is the Scarlet 2i2 an good external soundcard for the iMac, or not an enhancement?
