Is there a way to make dorico put every rehearsal mark at the beginning of a system automatically?

Not that I know of. And I think in many cases, it would work the other way round: you decide that certain points in the musical flow are important enough to warrant a rehearsal mark (i.e. a spot where people would often want to start rehearsing a certain passage), and sometimes you’d want those at the start of a system.
Maybe you misunderstood me. Of course, I decide where to place the rehearsal marks. In this case, I’m working on a rock music sheet, where the rehearsal marks indicate sections like verse, chorus, etc. It’s much more convenient for each section to start at the beginning of a system. In classical music, it’s a bit different, of course.
In my piece, I have six instruments in the band, and the music isn’t always divided into four-bar phrases. Because of this, I’m manually adjusting the rehearsal mark positions in each part, which feels like an unnecessary time drain.
No… Just place system breaks judiciously and add rehearsal marks to taste!
