Rehearsal Marks vertical placement

It seems that adjusting the vertical height of rehearsal marks in Engraving Options applies globally, not to individual layouts.

In the attached two screenshots, I’m happy with the rehearsal mark height in comparison to the treble clef stave. But in a bass clef part, the height seems comparatively too high. Of course I could manually adjust these downwards on a part by part basis in Engrave mode, but that feels awkward. Is there something I’m missing here or a workaround?

Additionally the height of the other rehearsal marks mid stave seem to be too high (as they’re defaulting to the same height as the ones at the beginning of each system). In the first screenshot I’ve pulled bar 34 down to where I’d prefer it to be. In the second screenshot, bars 18 and 26 seem too high to me.

I know this seems pretty persnickety, but if anyone has any ideas…

Yes. Because Engraving options always apply globally.
Layout Options apply to specific layouts and Notation Options apply to specific Flows.

Hi @alderking,
I would say that for how the things are now, it is a compromise: choose the values that give you good spacing for the different clefs. Here an example and the settings changed in Engraving options (visualised using the Library Manager):

Very useful screenshots!! Funnily enough, I came up with almost identical settings to yours after playing around with these for a while. And they do seem to be a decent compromise. Many thanks for your help!
