Reinstall eLicenser problem

Hi! I am trying to reinstall my Cubase 10.5 on my Windows 11 laptop and when it came to License activation it wants some License activation code. Where do I get it from? I have purchased my Cubase in a box and have a Download Access Code with it. What can I do?

No need. Plug in the USB key and make sure you’re actually installing the version for which you have a license, as 10.5 was a paid update.. (Assuming you still use the Pro version)

Hi,
also make sure to install the latest eLicenserControlCenter:

Yes, it gives me a message:
The currently installed version of the eLicenser Control (eLC) software is too old.

Please try again after downloading and installing the latest version of the eLicenser Control software from www.eLicenser.net.

But I guess I did it 2 times and it is still the same

Well, I actually purchased 9,5, but then upgraded… Maybe there is the problem?
But it gives me the next message:
The currently installed version of the eLicenser Control (eLC) software is too old.

Please try again after downloading and installing the latest version of the eLicenser Control software from www.eLicenser.net.

No, that doesn’t matter. But you have a license for Cubase 10 Pro, not 10.5. Which are you trying to launch?

Please show screenshots of the dialogs to clarify what’s going on.

Try to deinstall the old eLCC first and then install again. Before you start Cubase, please run the eLCC first.

Also, log into your MySteinberg account (make sure to use the correct credentials) and see if you own Cubase 10.5.
