I am trying to reinstall cubase 8.5 on a laptop because my PC did crash. The installation was not a problem. the activation with the liscenser is. It does not seem to recognise the lisencer though windows sees it in config screen. what can i do to acces cubase program again?

Please go to http://www.elicenser.net/en/latest_downloads.html Download and install the latest version of the eLicenser Control Center. Please make sure your USB eLicenser is plugged directly into a USB 2.0 port on your computer (not a hub). Is the key recognized in the eLicenser Control Center?
