Relative MIDI Control Function?

Hi,

Is it possible to have Cubase perform relative versus absolute MIDI control functions? For example, can I assign three MIDI knobs to frequency, gain, and Q and have Cubase control these functions on whichever EQ band I select?

Sonar’s ACT is able to do this and I find it useful.

Hi,

No, this is not possible in Cubase exactly this way. You can use Quick Controls to dynamic assignment based on selected track. But not based on selected plug-in or section of the plug-in.

Dedicated AI knob (which is available for example on Steinberg CC121) is dynamically assigned to the parameter, where is the mouse over.
