Remap CMC-FD Faders to Output CC Messages?

Is it possible to remap the CMC-FD faders in Cubase to CC messages for use as a VI articulation controller?

For example, can I remap fader #1 to CC 1 to control modulation, fader #2 to CC 11 to control expression, etc.?

Not natively.

But yes, using Bome Midi Translator. The only catch is that when Cubase starts up it will grab the device. So you just go into Studio Setup and remove it.

I have a setup with 2 cmc-fds and a cmc-tp that I does just what you’re talking about. It’s worth the small inconvenience.
