Have I got this right? There is no generic MIDI controller option for the the new Remote Control Editor? Must I invest in additional expensive hardware to use this feature? Thanks ---

Yes, you indeed must invest… I have two Generic Remote devices which are unusable with the RCE. Sming, a Steinberg employee, has acknowledged it few months ago in a thread on the subject, saying that using GRD with RCE should be for further devlopment… Honestly, I don’t hold my breath and anyway, I have enough gripes against C7, even in its 7.0.4 stage, to stay away from the whole thing, RCE usable or not… ---
