The remote control of the outputs volume from the Setup window is nice.
Even more useful would be a remote control of the microphone gain inputs, in case one prefers to place the UR next to the stage, using shorter microphone cables and then using a USB extender via CAT 5 for connecting to the control room.
Yes, you can do your gain settings with the knobs before starting the regular rehearsal, but not having a meter in the UR824 (apart for the two-color signal input/peak light) means playing dangerously the blind gain game.
The remote control of input gain is available on other audio interfaces in this price range, so I hope it can be added with a firmware/software update.
