Remote Control (Play/Stop/Rec) from 2nd monitor in Booth

Hi guys. I tried to figure out a solution but I couldn’t:

  • my main studio system is win10pro and N14
  • in my recording booth i have a 2nd monitor (actually an Android tablet / spacedesk wireless conecction)
  • When I’m recording on my own and I’m in my booth I’d like to have Nuendo transport functions on the 2nd monitor aka tablet-touchscreen (at least Play/Stop/Record) but WITHOUT moving the main transport-bar from my main studio-monitor onto the 2nd monitor
  • with other words I need an additional transport-bar (or at least Play/Stop/Record)

Am I missing something? Is there a way to set that up?

The only thing I managed to set up was an additional MixConsole for my 2nd monitor / tablet. But that has no Play/Stop/Record….

(The only real workaround I see right now is purchasing the “Cubase IC pro” app for android for my tablet - although I’m not 100% sure if it works with N14 or upcoming N15. Some folks say it does, but I think it’s not officially supported.)

Which Nuendo version? I think since 12 you can show a transport bar on the mixer view.

Hi st10ss, it’s N14! Oh man… you are right! :slight_smile: It’s a bit hidden: when right-clicking on the upper part of the MixConsole one can activate the transport bar. What a relief!
