Remove Background Echo from Spoken Word

Hi clever people.

I have a recording of me speaking for an hour. Due to an organisational accident, it was done with a mobile phone at my feet, so is full of echoes.

Is it possible to use Cubase to remove the echo and clean the audio? Is there a plugin that would achieve this?

Any helpful tips appreciated…

Thanks
Martin

There are multiple ‘De-Reverb’ plugins around, a Google search should bring those up, but you could try the free service at Audimee for cleaning up those vocals:

SpectraLayers could do that.

Thanks Lordadb. Exactly what I was after.
