If I add a double or final barline, and then remove it, Dorico leaves behind a time signature Signpost. I can’t seem to remove it, even when it’s the same as the preceding meter.
This happens for me too, but only if I remove the double barline by overwriting it with a normal one. If I just select the double barline and hit delete I don’t get a signpost. No idea why it happens.
Bingo. That fixed it. Pressing delete on the double bar gets rid, whereas changing to a single barline keeps the hidden time sig. Interestingly, if you select a dashed barline, the signpost is hidden, though the signature is still ‘there’ (Property set to Hidden).
