Does anyone know a way to attach a shortcut to deleting overlapping midi events in the project window? There’s a possibility with audio events, with overlapping midi notes, but not MIDI events, as far as I can tell. What am I missing?

Hi,
MIDI Part and Audio Events behave different. You can hear only one Audio Event at the given time. So the overlapping doesn’t make sense. But the MIDI Parts can overlap and both of the layers are playing back.
Therefore there is no Delete Overlaps for MIDI Parts.

When tracking midi parts in a loop, my preferred way is recording midi in ‘stacked’ mode, which creates overlapped events. Since there’s an option inside of Cubase to manually delete these midi overlap events, wouldn’t it make sense to have this shortcut-able?
