I have added a simple preamp plugin (FrontDAW) to all my audio channels in my template. Apparently, this plugin presents itself with a MIDI output to Cubase. As a result, the MIDI input selection for my instrument and midi channels now contains a list of 28 possible inputs, instead of just the four keyboards/drumpad-controllers that I have.
I can remove unused MIDI hardware from this list in the Studio Setup, but it looks like there is no way to tell Cubase not to show me these 24 plugin instances as possible MIDI sources, or is there?
