I am writing a piece with aleatoric notation, senza misura, and want to delete the all rests between notes. I’ve been using ‘Remove rests’ but I don’t seem to be able to be able to remove rests when they immediately follow a grace note (see attached graphics, I want to remove the minim and dotted crotchet rests). Is this a known problem and is there a workaround? Thanks
You can’t remove those rests, I’m afraid, because the grace notes require them to be there. You can select the rests and scale them to 1% custom scale size via the Properties panel.
