Remove slash notation and back to notes

I not having luck trying to get rid of slash notation in a piano part. I never entered any chords. I want to get the slashes cleared and have tried selecting measures and right clicking. I cannot seem to find “Change Voice” to make the change, as suggested. What am I doing incorrectly?

You have a slash region (the green section). You have selected it (the end locators - those orange circles - are visible), so just hit delete.

Janus, thanks so much for the hint. It worked perfectly. It removed the chord slashes.
