Can someone tell me if C6 has the stuff needed to remove cassette tape hiss without losing music quality?
To some extend you can use the tools within Cubase to camouflage unwanted noise/hiss.
But you’re best bet would be Wavelab (or another audio editor with a restoration bundle) for serious restoration, while maintaining the recording as untouched as possible. Depending on the recording, completely removing hiss without losing quality is very hard, almost impossible because most likely you need to alter frequencies that are in the domain of the recording.
