Remove the title page when printing

Hi

How do remove the blank title page when printing a score ? I want to print a booklet with the music notation starting on the first left page. I tried changing page numbers starting at 2, but nothing change ! Everything looks perfect in engrave mode, but in printing mode the left page is blank and the music starts at the right page. I’m on Dorico 5.18

By default, page 1 is a RH page, as you can see from the page tiles in Engrave mode.

If you want your music to start on a LH, page, change Layout Options > Page Setup > Page Numbers > Initial Page Number to 2. Then you get this:

From your description, it sounds like you may have already tried adding a blank page at the start of the layout. This probably shows up as a page override (red triangle in the Pages panel).

If that’s what you have, try right-clicking on that tile and choosing Remove Page Override.

If that doesn’t solve your issue, can you upload your project file here so someone can see exactly what’s going on?

Det er så yndigt at følges ad.dorico (708.5 KB)

Thank you very much, I tried your instructions but I still get a blank left page. So I have uploaded the file.

Because it’s a booklet. The white page will be on the back when folded. Is that what you want? Otherwise, change to normal.

Or is this what you want?

2-up

Prints two pages on each sheet of paper. The first page in the range is printed on the left-hand side of the first sheet of paper. This can be useful for printing instrument parts as it reduces the number of edges that must be bound, because pages can also be folded in half.

You can also specify a paper size on which to print odd final pages; for example, if you are printing a layout containing five pages.
