So removing the ability to drag instruments, VST effects or loops on to the arrange “in between existing tracks” is non sensical. Now we have to drag them all the way over to the track headers? Steinberg you gave us finally the ability for full drag and drop yet now we have twice the distance to cover to be able to actually do the drop part if we wish to create new tracks by placing them in between tracks . It is so much better and less distance to cover if we can drop instruments, effects and loops on to the arrange page in between tracks to create new tracks.

This is definitely an area where I think they can improve and regressed a bit with the 10 release. Whether you’re dropping a loop or plugin, it should still work in the arrange view. Was a little surprised that they didn’t go that route right off the bat.
