Removing eLicenser?

Just download latest elicencer (google) and install it

What’s the point?

Then you might have a working version of synsopos.exe. And if it does not help you can then use the uninstaller in add and remove programs to remove elicencer correctly.

After installing an,d deleting eLicenser correctly , it’s still there and Cubase won’t run

I wanted you to try with it installed freshly

that’s what I did ,I uploaded the application online, installed it etc.then deleted it correctly but

Maybe found something new:

For the time being Cubase is running fine, hope this is what caused the problem??!!

:sob: :sob: :sob: Still got the same issue !! Cubase won’t run even though I stopped Synsopos etc !!

What else should I do to have Cubase work properly, please ?

You’ve been at this for 12 days - it’s time to bite the bullet.

If you do, remember to NOT install the elicenser!

Hi, like I said in the beginning, this issue is not related to the elicenser at all. Cubase cannot find our license engine for some reason after it worked the first time launching Cubase. We can only reproduce this, if we run the license engine as administrator. Turns out Jean doesn’t run it as admin, so we don’t know what the issue is currently. Still investigating this.

The question is: why Cubase runs perfectly when I turn on my computer in the morning and won’t open later ? I then have to restart the PC for it to open and run fine again!
Cubase LE AI Elements 13.0.41 64bit2024.9.28 14.22.28.130.dmp (337,4 Ko)

Another strange thing happening with Cubase : if I only launch Cubase 13 late during the day (early afternoon), the application won’t open unless I restart the computer. In other words, Cubase will work correctly if I launch it in the morning but it will NOT start if I launch it later during the day !!! This is ridiculous !

You should seriously reinstall your Computer from scratch.
You have done so many things that impact the operating system in the admin level, which needs a serious reset.
Everything you are trying makes it just more unpredictable.

Everything works fine on my computer, each app is up to date, etc
Except Cubase that needs a restart ?!!

If this were thru for more people you would have a point. But since none do, it must be something on your system that changes during the day. Do you use standby or sleep mode when not in use while still on. If yes it might be your audio card (which you don’t mention) which does not fully recover from sleep mode.
Also set usb and pcie to not use power saving in the advanced power saving settings.

I have also been in touch with the Steinberg Support . After several messages over a period of 2 months , I got this final one today (in french) so let me translate:
It’s a problem you share with some others. We don’t yet know the reason why this happens. I am sorry to say for the time being you’ll have to restart Cubase each time it won’t run.

So, it’s not caused by my computer or whatever else. It’s a Steinberg Cubase issue. It’s probably happening to many others. They are working on it and will come up with a solution sometimes.
