Removing flow title on each page without manually erasing?

Hey. I suppose this question has an obvious answer, but nevertheless: how do I get rid of the flow title on top of each page? Not to be confused with the initial flow heading on the first flow page. I’ve gone about this by manually deleting these on each page, but that makes a page stay when it should disappear after I’ve cut down space (which obviously nobody in the world would want, I can’t believe I’m working with software where this is possible).

Sorry to be asking this, thanks for the help.

Normally it’s the Project Title that appears there, rather than the Flow Title, so you must have changed something.

These are found on the Default Page Template. You can delete them there.

The flow title has been the default for me since I purchased Dorico, also after resetting to factory layout settings. And I’ve never been able to remove them through layout options.

My apologies, it depends on which templates you use.
The solution though is the same.

It will if you have this selected in the Hub. (Project will use multiple flows)

Is there any way to unselect this if I have, which I can’t recall that I have?

Only for new projects, I think. Otherwise do what @Janus said and change the default page template.

Jesper

So, the purpose of “Project will use multiple flows” is to replace the Project title with the Flow title in the templates? Just trying to understand as I’ve not really paid attention to this setting before…

(…sometimes we just don’t know what we don’t know…)

Yes, I think so, but hasn’t given it much thought.

Jesper

Since I already have done everything thinkable and am afraid of missing the point, I need a really detailed explanation for how to do this! Would you please? I’d be so grateful.

I’m using the Default Full Score in the layout options. I’ve hidden the flow heading which is only relevant for the first page. What else can I do?

In Engrave mode, right panel, double-click the Default page template. In the Template editor, delete the FlowTitle or replace it with Title. Apply and close.
Do the same for both the Default Score template and Part template.

Jesper

Delete this, or right-click in the text frame and select something else.

Amazing, thank you so much!
