removing instrument numbers from staff name

Hello,

Can I remove the auto-numbers 1-6 from the staff names in the layout? I’d rather show my entire staff name.

If you create a separate group for each of the six players that are currently numbered 1 to 6 in the Players panel in Setup mode, that will take care of it.

Thanks Daniel. I thought it worked at first but the numbers seem to be back, but not editable in the Instrument Names. Any ideas?

Could you zip up and attach the project here so I can take a look, or email it to me at d dot spreadbury at steinberg dot de? If you email it to me, be sure to include a link to this thread in your email, or I will not be able to remember what I’m supposed to do with it when I get it (I get a lot of email).
