I want to removes six measures of the bass voice. Thanks in advance!

What do you want to do with them?
Do you want the measures after those six to slide into the space formerly occupied by those removed?
Did you want whatever notes exist in those measures to be erased but for subsequent measures to stay where they were?
Did you simply wish to hide those measures in the score (but not in the part)?

This is for a Kyrie that I wrote. The treble clef has soprano and alto voices, and the bass clef has the tenor/bass voices. But when it gets to the verse, it is sung in unison, so I just need a treble clef. If I leave the bass staff in, it looks ugly and unnecessary.
