Hello, Wonder if anyone can help with this. I have been trying to input two Renaissance tunes into Dorico and can not work out how the rhythmic value is put in ? The majority of the bars have the following order : in 3/8 time most bars have 1 crotchet with a crotchet rest underneath-then a crotchet - then a quaver. The main problem is i can not get the crotchet rest underneath the crotchet note as printed in the music i am copying…Any help appreciated…
Sounds like there are multiple voices involved. A picture would be most helpful.
Between [hidden] tuplets and force duration, almost anything is possible. We need more information about what you’re trying to achieve, however.
