Rename in Project Logical Editor doesn't work

I have 10 audio events with different names in an arrangement. I want to rename the files and set up the appropriate action in Project Logical Editor:

This is after the transformation, where the name is not replace, but New Name is added to the name.

The manual states that the name should be replaced, but something strange happens:
The file name in the info-line DOESN’T change:

Is this a bug?

I don’t have the manual handy at the moment, but I think that function changes the name of the event, not that of the file.

Well that could be true. But how can I change the name of a group of files so they will be like “Name nr. 1”, “Name nr. 2” and so on?
In Logic I just select the files and give the first one the name and the number and all the files will be named and numbered accordingly.
Any help much appreciated!
