There might be many plugins on a channel that have the term “Threshold” for example,
I’d like to be able to right click on a Quick Control, and rename it - with the option of 'Always Name This Plugins Parameter This Way", then Cubase updates a naming structure XML file somewhere.
This is already doable, but not straight forward. You have to open the Remote Control Editor and rename the parameter’s name at “Main Label”.
Here’s for example a rename I made to Retrologue’s Filter Resonance parameter to Retro Res.
Note that this will not affect the currently selected track, but it will on a new track with this plugin and the change is permanent since it is written in an xml.
