Renaming the track version name with the Project Logical Editor.

Not at DAW to look at this in more detail. But there are several PLE presets that come stock with Cubase that are focused on naming. One removes the “(R)” you get on a Rendered Track (which is why I remember it exists). You should take a look at those examples to see how they work.
Sorry, but I’m talking about the track version text field.
