Renaming events with description field

Hi. I need to rename some hundreds of files with several rules. I’ve used the rename tool and I’ve got the correct naming scheme but in the description field, not in the name of every file. Is there any way to get the audio file renamed instead the description field?

Hi,

If you need to rename the Audio files (really the source file), you can do it in the Pool window.

… a perfect occasion to repeat the old feature request for a larger naming field and the option to update both the file-name and the description by - say - “Ctrl-Enter” after typing it in.
