Renaming Tracks won't work - Cubase 13 Pro

I can’t rename tracks from ther track name or the Track Inspector
I used to be able to rename track names by double clicking on either the track name or the track Inspector. I used these a lot to rename tracks and, holding down shift would also rename the actual track strip name - now I can only rename a track from the bottom mixer panel - and this won’t rename the actual track strip. This is very problematic with multiple midi tracks linked to multi output VSTs.
Any ideas?
It worked in version 12 Pro

Could you try to Disable Preferences in the Cubase Safe Start Mode, please?
