Render in place clarification

When I render in place using the “Dry” option, it correctly produces an audio file on a new track with the same insert plugins as the original.

I also have some plugins on the Stereo Out Channel. Can you confirm that the rendered audio files does not include the processed Stereo out (i.e. a dry file)? I have tried with and without effects on the Stereo out and they appear to be the same, but would be grateful for confirmation.

Yes that is correct. The stereo out is left out of the equation when choosing to render as dry.

Yes, of course, if you want to have the whole chain and the master track FX included, you have to chose the option “Complete Signal Path + Master FX”.

“Dry” doesn’t include any effect plugin, as the manual states, it simply copies the track plugins to the new track.
