I am trying to use render in place to make an audio track from a midi track. When I click Render in Place in Edit, it shows Render and Render (Current Settings as greyed out and I can’t go any further. I would be grateful for ideas how to sort this out.
Make sure you have a track or Part selected, and make sure the track is not muted.
Track is selected and not muted. That is not the problem
part.
Just had the very same issue, but realised the issue was that the In / Out markers were set outside of where there was midi, maybe that is the issue?
Render in Place doesn’t care about Locators, you only need the Audio Events / MIDI Parts to be selected and the Tracks not muted.
Well, all I can say is that it wasn’t working and I did a search and came across this thread. I moved the locators and it then worked, so that’s why I said what I did. Don’t believe I did anything different.
