Render In Place Question

Greetings!

I’m used to the Bounce in Place functions in PT and Logic.

Looking to free up UAD resources in Cubase 10.

Is there any way to render in place with insert UAD efx, but WITHOUT making a bounced stereo file?

thanks in advance.

Hello Again, I think I figured this out.

using “audio mixdown” and select audio tracks “downmix to mono”…looks like this works but takes fader and pan position into account as well as insert.

think so… can anyone confirm?

Thx!

Hi,

I don’t have any UAD effects, but Render In Place will render your tracks in various ways – dry, full channel or full mix including FX, etc. Check the Render Settings and check the boxes for whatever signal path you want to use when rendering track or tracks to a new file or new files.
