hi, trying to get some clarity on this option. In the Render Tab, Options, Auto Save Master Section Preset. Currently I am unable to find any saved preset of the Master Section after a render, other than ones I previously saved myself.
When this option is activated, after a rendering, you can find a copy of the Master Section config there:
wow PG, you really enlightened me on that one. I always observed those little stars in the lower right as only for showing bypass states, I had no idea they saved presets to companion files. I learned a few things from that one.

Note that for audio files, the preset is not stored inside the file but in a separate file. If you erase that file, you lose the preset.
The montage does not have this issue.
