Render to 2 Mono Tracks

Hi

I have a Midi Instrument Stereo output track.

is it possible to render to 2 mono tracks (one left and one right) ?

Yes. Render the MIDI to audio (you’ll get a new stereo audio track), then select the audio track and go to Project→Convert Tracks→Multi-Channel to Mono

It will let you make separate tracks for L and R channels.

It is possible, but not directly, rather in two steps:

Step 1: Edit > Render in Place… (creates an audio track in stereo)

Step 2: Project > Convert Tracks > Multi-Channel to Mono… (creates two mono tracks from the stereo track)

The two commands can be combined in a macro:
