Rendering a montage made of different clips does not finish

Thanks to advice from folks here, I have managed to determine the method for rendering a montage (made up of separate clips) to individual files.

However on the second Montage, when rendering, the final clip does not complete rendering. The orange wheel, adjacent to the montage name keeps spinning, and although the resultant wav file has ceased increasing in size, it is unplayable using VLC, for example.

Subsequently when trying the quit Wavelab I get the message that I cannot close the montage while it is still being processed.

Hitting the “X” bottom left makes no difference.

Wavelab seems to have disappeared into a loop. Anyone ever seen this before?

Did you try more than once?

I did - it was repeatable… but I think I fixed it.

I had somehow managed to save the Montage was saved into a subdirectory of itself!

I am not completely computer illiterate - but it would appear so sometimes.

Anyway - once I noticed that, saved the montage where it should be and re-rendered it, it was ok.
