Rendering spectralayers edits back into Cubase 11

Hey, I’ve started playing around with Spectralayers in Cubase 11 and I want to make my edits in spectralayers and then render it back into the original file. Is this possible or do I need to render any changes made in spectralayers to a new audio file?

If you execute [Audio > Bounce Selection] and click on “Replace” in the subsequently displayed dialog, your changes should be rendered into the existing file.
