Rendering with illegal name

I tried to render a montage which I made nearly four years ago. One of the markers had a “?” in it. Previously (using whatever version was then current) the rendering process had silently changed this to a “-”. This time (using 9.5.15 on Windows, because I can’t use the current version) it gave a message that the file could not be created, and the rendering process then hung - I had to close WaveLab and reopen it to try again.

I’ll wait for the fix for my problem with it (VST with too many outputs); but thanks!
