Rent-to-Own Option for steinberg products

Dear Steinberg Support,

Good day.

I was wondering if there is any chance that Steinberg will offer a rent-to-own option in the future.

I would really like to purchase the full versions of WaveLab and SpectraLayers, but paying for both licenses in a single payment is a significant investment for me. A rent-to-own or installment option would make these products much more accessible.

This is a user forum, so you won’t get a definitive answer here for your question.

Steinberg hasn’t done this in the past and probably will not do it in the future. There were already a lot of discussions on subscriptions for Steinberg products and the answer there was always no, they will not do it.

So I guess a rent-to-own offer is also not on the list, but to be sure open a Support ticket and ask the question directly to Steinberg.

I’d expect buying Cubase etc. through a retail store like Sweetwater would have a payment plan available.
