Reopen Cubase Hub

I closed a project and then closed the control room VSTs I had tweaked. I inadvertently closed the Cubase Hub window as well by clicking the ‘X’ button. This hides the Hub but does not exit Cubase like the ‘Quit Cubase’ button does. I have done this 2 or 3 times over the years since the current Hub implementation.

There does not seem to be a direct way to get the Hub back or exit Cubase after this. If the Audio Performance Monitor is still visible, closing this will restore the Hub but if that is not visible, then I have to kill Cubase via Task Manager.

Am I missing something ?

It closes Cubase here as expected. C14.

As per @Grim , hitting X now actually does close the app. I think this is a change as I can remember doing this in a previous version and finding that the Cubase process was still running, even though it wasn’t visible any more.

If you have an active project and open the hub from the menu, you can open a new project, or do other hub tasks with out closing the project. So the x closes the hub but not Cubase. That’s convenient.

If you closes the hub with no prtoject open, then Cubase also closes, as expected. That’s good, and as I want it to be.
