"Repeat" command creates unwanted voices

Hi,

I have selected the music in a few bars, hit “R” for repeat, and some of the already selected notes (so not the newly copied ones) are moved to a different voice. Why?

If you turn on View > Note and Rest Colors > Voice Colors it will become obvious that you already have two voices going on in the existing passage (the one before you repeat).
