Repeat ending hook length independent adjust

Is there a way to adjust the repeat ending hook length, so that the starting one on the left side is not there at all, and the right side one is normal length?

Thank you for the reply. I think i was not clear about what i would like to do.
I am posting an image now. I would like to shorten to nothing [remove] the the left hook [arrow] but keep the right hook [circle].

In the properties, i can only adjust BOTH equally. As far as i can see.

from the online manual…

Yeah, i think this isn’t possible. Just wanted to check if someone may have a hack…
Thanks for the replies in any case.

It is possible to achieve the desired first repeat ending appearance with a custom line:

Here is the project:
Custom repeat ending line.dorico (424.9 KB)

The original first ending bracket has been moved up and off the page in engrave mode.

Ah ok, you make a line, not use a standard repeat ending. Thanks, will check it out.

Well, you do actually use a real first-ending line, but you hide that (by dragging it off the page) before creating the custom line to show what you want. That preserves the playback as well as giving you the look you want.

Brilliant, thanks again. Still trying to figure out how to make it. I looked in your file and see no variations from the standard library, as far as lines are concerned. I will succeed! Will report back.

Ok, i cannot figure this out. How did you adjust that right-end downward line, to be longer? Mine is short, and i see no place to adjust it. ???

Got it: Library/Line Annotations. Done. Thanks a third time!
