I have 3 endings as shown in the picture, but the first one is only meant to be used in specific situations. I don’t want Dorico to play the first ending — I’d like it to skip it completely and go straight to the second one.
Is that possible?

The following workaround assumes that you aren’t already using repeat markers. To skip the first ending on the first pass, add a D.S. at the start of the first ending and a Segno at the start of the second ending and hide these repeat markers. To skip the first ending on the second pass, add another D.S. just after the start of the first ending and a Segno at the start of the third ending, set the Marker index property of these repeat markers to 2 and hide them, and move the second D.S. to the start of the first ending:
