Repeat structure feasibility question

I’m trying to help a friend achieve the following repeat structure:

  • ‘A’ section
  • ‘B’ section repeated with two endings with a Segno sign at the beginning and a To Coda jump at the end of the first repeat ending (that is, attached to the first rhythmic position of the second ending)
  • ‘C’ section ending with a D.S. to Coda
  • ‘D’ section which is the Coda itself

An additional requirement is to have section B being repeated also during the D.S. section. So it should look something like A-B(1st end.)-B(2nd end.)-C-B(1st end.)-B(avoid all endings and jump straight to coda)-D.

All my trials so far fail because it seems a “To Coda” cannot live within a repeat ending.

I’m aware Dorico can do incredible things with repeats, but I’m failing to find a way here.

Any idea?

Thanks!

See this topic which has the desired playback sequence after moving the Segno to the start repeat barline.

Thanks a lot!

I believe I had missed the fact that, to get ‘1,3’ one needed to have the section repeated 4 times.
