Imported final XML file, which only contains notes, no instructions etc.
Everything works fine score made, only the Create Barline does not work.
First, the “start repeat, end repeat” option doesn’t work.
Second, the double barline isn’t placed.
I hope someone knows a solution to this problem
It’s hard to diagnose without seeing your project file – can you post it here?
Please upload your actual Dorico file, so we can take a look and see what’s going on. The screenshot doesn’t give us enough information.

Hoi asherber,
First of all thank you for your attention.
The score is a Finale MUSIC XML file.
Here’s Dorico’s file. The problem starts at measure 258, from there on, it often fails to place the repeat signal in the score. Sometimes the signal appears only on the right side of the measure, and sometimes only on the left.
Hopefully, you know a solution.

Some of your time signatures are local instead of global. Normally, when you select a time signature, the one you click is orange and the others in the stack are blue. But when you click the time signature at bar 245, for example, you can see that the one in the bottom system is not included.

You can do a drag select that includes all of the time signatures at this location, then filter to select only time signatures (to make sure nothing else is included), and delete. Then re-enter the 6/4 time signature normally.
The time signatures at bars 258 and 261 have the same issue. If you fix the one at bar 261, for example, then you can turn the barline into a repeat barline.
The barline at the start of bar 263 has a similar issue, local barlines. Because barlines and time signatures are basically the same objects in Dorico, you can fix this the same way, by selecting and deleting the existing time signature and re-entering it. Then you can turn that barline into a repeat barline.
