Replace montage clip audio

How do I replace the audio in a clip? I frequently revise a mix with a new filename and need to replace the audio rather than create a new clip and lose effects and envelopes. I only way I could find was to rename the original file so that I was prompted when I opened the montage the next time with a replace file dialog box. This is way too awkward to do every time. I can’t be the first person to want to do this.

By the way, I’m writing this after searching the WL8 forum, online help, and the manual. Every reference I found did not provide enough information to help.

Thanks for the screen shot. I looked, and my tools end at “Split at silences…”. If I click on “Shortcuts…” there’s no listing of “Replace audio file” when I search for “replace”. Surely this isn’t a limitation on the Elements version, which I have.
