Replacing the usb c port on my ur816

Hey there,

I have a URC816 and unfortunately due to cerebral palsy I had involuntary movement when plugging in my usb c cable and its snapped the female usb c port in the unit. I don’t think this would be under warranty even though it’s only 6 months old is it possible to replace the usb c I have friend who’s quite handy with a soldering iron.

I would recommend against attempting to repair your unit yourself. The parts aren’t user serviceable.

The solder connections are usually so tiny you would need a very fine soldering iron and good skills to so accomplish that.
