I would like to request two improvements to the custom line body editor in Dorico.
First, it would be extremely helpful to be able to control the repeat proportion of the individual items used in a repeatable line body. At the moment, one can assemble the shape from several symbol units, but there seems to be no way to specify how much each unit should repeat relative to the others.
For detailed shapes such as a poco a poco vibrato line, this control would be very useful. Ideally, the repeat amount could be defined either:
- by percentage with 100% as the reference, or
- by relative value with 1 as the reference.
This would allow much more precise and refined shaping.
Secondly, the current vibrato-style wave begins upward first. It would be very useful to have an additional variant that begins downward first.
Both additions would greatly improve flexibility when creating detailed custom vibrato and wave lines.
