If the UR22C is not connected to a USB host, the USB LED blinks nonstop, which I think is a bit distracting.
The device can be used just fine without the USB-C data port connected after adjusting it via dspMixFx, and it keeps the adjustments and works perfectly. So the fact that the USB is disconnected shouldn’t make the LED blink, because it’s not a status that needs user attention (which is what blinking LEDs usually mean).
In my opinion, the USB LED should be:
- ON if USB connected
- OFF if no USB connected
- BLINK maybe only if some USB or application error which needs user attention has happened
