Add a command Preferences / VST-Plug-in with:
“MixConsole always forward” or perhaps one of the three, put it to operate “always ahead”.
It would be a good option that was withdrawn in Cubase and, in my opinion, should be replenished for those can only operate with a monitor, even with a laptop.
Seriously, it would be much appreciated to have the option.
